You can manage member's within your community using the tools available within Members & Groups » Manage Members. From here you can search for members, edit all aspects of any member's profile, delete existing members or ban problem members.

Creating New Members

No feature is currently available within the administration area to add new member accounts. If you wish to add new accounts you should register each member account using the register link within the forum front-end.

Editing Existing Members

The highlighted areas below show how to search for and edit existing members...



Once you find the member you wish to edit, simply click the Edit Profile button aligned right of each member. This will present all the options to modify the users account as shown below...



From this screen you can update all the information associated with a members account.

Deleting a Member

To delete a member simply click the Delete button aligned right of each member on the Members & Groups » Manage Members page. Deleting a member will also delete all posts & private message folders associated with the member.

Editing Member Accounts

The options below are available when editing existing member accounts.

• Update Members Account
  Update Members Username - Allows you to update the users forum username. You will have the option of sending a confirmation email to the user to inform them of the change.
  Update Members Primary Email - Allows you to update the users primary email address. You will have the option of sending a confirmation email to the user to inform them of the change.
  Change / Reset Members Password - Allows you to update the users password. You will have the option of sending a confirmation email to the user to inform them of the change.
  Ban Members IP Address - Allows you to add the member's IP address to the banned IP address list.
  
  
• Member Group Options
  Primary Member Group - Select a primary member group for this member. The permission set associated to this group will be used for this member unless overridden below.
  Secondary Member Groups - Select additional members groups for this member. Forums associated to selected member groups will be visible to this member. Hold CTRL to select multiple member groups.
  
  
• Permission Set Options
  Permission Set - Optionally associate a permission set to this member. This can be used to control at the member level the features and permissions available within the forums. This will override any group or forum permission sets.
  
  
• Member Level Title
  Member Level Title - By default the member level settings determine this title. This allows you to override the member level title for this member. Presented next to all posts.
  Optional Member Level Image - Optionally upload an image to represent this member level. This will replace the rank images. This will be uploaded to your defined image upload directory.
  Delete Member Level image? - Tick to delete any custom member level image associated to the current user.
  
  
• Forum Options
  Skin - Select the default skin that will be used for this member.
  Language - Select the default language that will be used for this member.
  Time Zone - Select the default time-zone that will be used for this member. Also specify if daylight saving time should be observed.
  Date Format - Select the default date format for this member.
  First Day Of Week - Select the default first day of the week for this member.
  
  
• Contact Details
  Homepage - Optional URL to the users homepage. Leave as default to disable.
  Blog URL - Optional URL to the users blog. Leave as default to disable.
  Public Email Address - Optional public email address displayed in members profile. Leave as default to disable.
  MSN ID - Optional MSN screen name, displayed in members profile. Leave as empty to disable.
  Yahoo Screen Name - Optional Yahoo screen name, displayed in members profile. Leave as empty to disable.
  AIM Screen Name - Optional AOL screen name, displayed in members profile. Leave as empty to disable.
  ICQ Number - Optional ICQ screen name, displayed in members profile. Leave as empty to disable.
  
  
• Personal Details
  Date Of Birth - Optional date of birth for user.
  Location - Optional location information.
  Occupation - Optional occupation information.
  Interests - Optional interest information.
  Biography - Optional biography information.
  
  
• Signature Details
  Signature - Optional users signature, this will appear below each post from the user.
  
  
• Avatar & Photo
  Delete members avatar? - Tick to remove users avatar.
  Delete members profile photo? - Tick to remove users profile photograph.
