Testing your InstantForum.NET Installation
At this stage you should now test your InstantForum.NET installation. The quickest way to do this is to simply open your favorite web browser and navigate to the URL where you installed InstantForum.NET. In this example we have installed InstantForum.NET to our default web site so we would navigate to "http://localhost/InstantForum2010/" to test the installation.
If everything was successful you should see the default layout as shown below...

If you don't receive the default InstantForum.NET screen please review the related links below for a list of general exceptions you may encounter whilst installing InstantForum.NET. If you do experience any problems and the issue is not covered within the related links below please don't hesitate to contact us.
Once you see the default InstantForum.NET screen as shown above te installation is complete.
To access the admin & staff control panels you should login using the details below...
Email Address: admin@admin.com
Password: admin
IMPORTANT: You should update the default administrator login details after installing InstantForum.NET. This is to ensure others can't login as the administrator within your installation. To update the default administrator account details click the "Admin CP" link within the top right navigation. From within the Admin CP click the "Manage Members" link and then click "Edit Profile" next to your admin account.
You should now update the SMTP server settings within InstantForum.NET to ensure the application can send email's. Email's are sent for example during registration or during workflow. You cam update the SMTP server information from the "Admin CP » Manage Settings Settings » Email & RSS" page.
